Favorite projects of October

favorites-of-october

October is almost over, so I thought I would sum up on my favorites posts this past month. Oh, I’m looking so much forward to the coming months with Christmas and all. For a DIY’er like me, Christmas is just pure joy! Everyday we get a little closer. I have some wonderful plans for the blog in December, so you can look forward to many many projects!

October has been a lovely month on the blog. I really like all my projects for our home. I like that every month a get to do a little project that makes a small difference in our home. This month I have made a couple of décor pieces that I’m really proud of.

The DIY terrarium I made in the beginning of the month is beautiful in our window and the plants are still alive, which is just wonderful. I have never been the greatest at keeping plants, so that is an accomplishment in it self 😀

The project was done over a couple of days with music playing the background, so whenever I look at it, it reminds me of being calm and just one of those times where you really have time to make a project, without interruptions.

Other piece of décor that I’m really happy about is the clock from IKEA that I finally got to makeover. It was one of those things I had been planning for a long time, so to get the time and figuring out what to do and how was just lovely.

It has been hanging in our kitchen for about a year, so every time I look at it, it surprises me a little, because it looks so different from before.

I have so many more projects for you in November that I’m looking forward to sharing with you. And speaking of November – I have shared some new free printables with my newsletter tribe today.
